日前，有北京消费者晒出与京东创始人刘强东的合影，称自己接到刘强东送的第一单外卖，照片中的刘强东身穿京东外卖骑手工服。对此，南都记者向京东方面求证，对方回应称：“属实，感谢大家对京东外卖的关注与支持。”

　　4月21日早间，京东发布《致全体外卖骑手兄弟们的公开信》宣布，针对有平台强迫外卖骑手“二选一”、不能接京东平台秒送订单的情况，为支持骑手自由接单、保障收入，推出多项紧急援助措施，包括：加大全职骑手招聘力度，未来三个月将招聘名额由五万名提高到十万名；所有因“二选一”被其他平台封杀的骑手，京东将给予足够单量，确保收入不降；骑手如有对象，京东可以优先为其对象安排工作。

　　近一段时间，京东外卖业务动作频频。2月11日，京东外卖正式启动“品质堂食餐饮商家”招募，对2025年5月1日前入驻的商家全年免佣金。2月24日，京东宣布未来一段时期签约的外卖全职骑手缴纳五险一金的所有成本，包含个人所需缴纳部分，全部由京东承担。

　　3月20日，京东外卖宣布，目前已与超10000名全职骑手签署正式劳动合同，每个工作日，都有超过500名骑手实现签约，正逐步落实五险一金的缴纳工作。并透露自2月11日正式上线以来，京东外卖已覆盖全国126城，入驻品质堂食餐厅门店数突破40万家。4月11日，京东外卖百亿补贴全面上线。
