Brahmaputra Infrastructure (BOM:535693) said the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), New Delhi, India, has dismissed an appeal filed by the Income Tax Department against the company related to an earlier tax addition of 154.9 million Indian rupees for the assessment year 2011-12, according to a Saturday filing.
The tax addition was initially made by the Assessing Officer in December 2018 and later deleted by the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) in January 2020, the filing said.
The ITAT order, passed on April 16, upheld the CIT(A)'s decision, finding no reason to interfere, it added.
