Suzlon Energy (NSE:SUZLON, BOM:532667) has secured a new order for 378 MW of wind power from NTPC Green Energy (NSE:NTPCGREEN, BOM:544289), according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
As part of this contract, Suzlon will supply 120 S144 wind turbine generators with hybrid lattice towers each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.
With this, the company's partnership with NTPC Green Energy has increased to 1,544 MW.
The company's shares were up nearly 1% in recent trade.
