Alaska Air Expands Service From San Diego With New Nonstop Routes

Alaska Air Group (ALK) said Tuesday it is adding new nonstop routes from San Diego with year-round service to Phoenix, Chicago O'Hare, and Denver, each with three daily flights.

The company said the route to Phoenix will begin on Aug. 20, followed by Chicago O'Hare and Denver, which will start Oct. 4.

The airline operator said it will also increase service by over 50% on several existing routes, including six daily flights to Las Vegas, Sacramento, and San Jose, and three daily to Salt Lake City from Oct. 26.

Additionally, Alaska Air said it began offering nonstop flights from San Diego to Washington Reagan National last month.
