路透上海4月22日 - 中国电动汽车制造商蔚来 9866.HK周二表示，将于第三季度在欧洲推出Firefly(萤火虫)电动汽车，这一时间晚于最初的预期，此前公司低估了欧洲地区销售和服务网络扩张所面临的挑战。
蔚来于12月发布了Firefly品牌，作为梅赛德斯-奔驰（Mercedes-Benz） MBGn.DE Smart和宝马（BMW） BMWG.DE Mini的竞品，并在当时表示将于今年上半年在欧洲推出。
蔚来CEO李斌在上海车展前的一次活动上告诉记者，由于销售和服务网络方面的挑战，蔚来在欧洲的进展慢于预期。他补充说，蔚来计划寻求更多的当地合作伙伴来拓展欧洲市场，并将在车展期间宣布与欧洲合作伙伴签署一些协议。
蔚来总裁秦力洪表示，公司还开发了右舵版本的Firefly汽车，首款车型将于今年10月投入市场。他说，蔚来正积极与东南亚和英国等右舵车市场的当地合作伙伴积极探索扩张计划。
他还表示，蔚来将于本周签署一份在新加坡销售汽车的合同，预计Firefly品牌最终将在中国以外的20个国家和地区销售。(完)
