Blue Star Helium (ASX:BNL) said its Jackson 29 SWNW 3054 development well at its Galactica helium project in Colorado showed increasing natural flow rates in flow testing since total depth was reached, reaching around 320 thousand cubic feet per day (Mcfd), according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The projected stabilized flow rates constrained for production optimization are expected to be between 350 Mcfd to 450 Mcfd, with a maximum of 550 Mcfd, the filing said.

An initial laboratory analysis of gas samples from the well showed a helium concentration of up to 3.3% and a carbon dioxide concentration of 48.66%.

The well reached total depth at 1,183 feet within the upper Lyons Formation, and wireline logs confirmed the penetrated Lyons sands to be high-quality and gas-saturated.
