2345 GMT - Paladin Energy is likely to have produced 2.8 million lb of U308, a common compound of uranium, in FY 2025, reckons Macquarie. While that is lower than the 3.0 million lb that Paladin guided toward before heavy rain in Namibia led it to withdraw annual guidance last month, it is better than perhaps the market had feared, Macquarie says. Paladin's 3Q output of around 745,000 lb was much stronger than expected. Paladin has signaled it will provide output guidance for FY 2026 in August. Macquarie now forecasts 4.5 million lb of U308 production in FY 2026. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
