IT之家 4 月 25 日消息，谷歌正要求部分远程办公员工重返办公室，否则可能会失去工作，并成为公司更广泛成本削减的一部分。

CNBC 23 日披露的内部文件显示，谷歌多个部门已通知部分员工：如果不开始执行混合办公模式、定期前往就近办公室，他们的岗位将面临风险。这些员工中，有人此前已获批进行远程办公。

2020 年，科技行业曾大举拥抱灵活办公，如今却因商业地产低迷而陷入结构性调整 —— 旧金山就是典型案例。

谷歌今年初开始向部分美国全职员工提供自愿离职方案。部分远程办公者被告知，如果每周无法到办公室工作至少三天，“自愿离职”将成为他们唯一的选项。据IT之家了解，截至去年年底，谷歌员工总数约为 18.3 万人，较两年前减少约 7000 人。

内部备忘录显示，谷歌联合创始人谢尔盖・布林曾在今年 2 月对 AI 部门表示，员工应每日到岗，每周 60 小时是“最佳效率区间”。布林强调，人工智能领域竞争迅猛，公司必须“全速推进”以维持领先。

谷歌发言人 Courtenay Mencini 表示，是否要求远程员工返岗由各个团队自主决定，并非公司统一政策。

她在回应中称：“我们一直强调，面对面的协作对于推动创新与解决复杂问题至关重要。为此，一些团队已要求居住在办公室附近的员工每周返岗三天。”
