　　港交所(00388.HK)于周四(4月24日)收市后宣布，拟斥资63亿港元，向置地公司购入中环交易广场一期9层办公楼连平台部分铺位，作为其永久总部，涉实用面积14.7万方呎，相当于平均呎价42849港元。

　　是次由港交所自资“扫货”的物业，其中大部分现已由港交所租用，包括交易广场一期第42楼至50楼共9层办公室，以及1楼及2楼与香港金融大会堂相邻的部分区域，即平台多个铺位，办公室楼层预计12至18个月内分阶段完成交易，平台物业则料今年9月或之后完成收购。

　　港交所将以内部资源支付全部代价，目前已支付10%订金。此外，港交所昨日亦签订新租约，续租交易广场二期其中5个楼层，租赁期为9年。

　　港交所表示，今次购买与租赁结合的混合模式，有助应对不同房地产周期的灵活性和韧性，长远可节省租金开支；今次投资既满足其长期发展和运营需求，亦可巩固其国际交易所的地位。

　　另外，置地承诺额外投入4亿元，用于优化与港交所相关的周边设施，包括设立港交所专用接待大堂，直接连至香港金融大会堂，及公众区域设置带有港交所品牌的标志，料未来数年完成。

　　截至2024年底，港交所账面上持有现金及等价物约1,343.65亿元，在其2024年度报告内未见持有任何物业。
