智通财经APP获悉，美银证券发布研报称，香港交易所(00388)宣布以63亿港元购买位于中环交易广场一期多层楼面，用作其永久总部，考虑到卖方置地公司提供的优化及其他服务，港交所认为交易价格公平。该行预期投资自用物业不太可能导致投资者对其成本和市值产生担忧，维持“买入”评级，目标价406港元。
美银证券称，消息令人感到意外，因为此前未曾听闻过任何相关消息，预料将对其股价造成短期冲击，因为大多数投资者可能会认为在当前经济环境下购入高端物业并非一个好选择。但该行相信，长远而言收购物业对港交所财务影响有限，截至2024年底其对外投资组合规模达72亿港元，预计今次交易未带来额外的融资成本，加上物业折旧期限很长，相信影响被摊薄而且有限。
