4月25日下午消息，日前有消息称腾讯音乐洽谈收购喜马拉雅。同时该消息还表示，喜马拉雅正经历剧烈的人员调整，2023年底的大规模裁员波及内容、技术等多部门，2024年更实施多轮“人员汰换”，至2024年仅余约1500人。
对于上述消息，新浪科技向喜马拉雅方面求证，喜马拉雅回应：尚不知晓“出售”一事，截至2025年4月24日，喜马拉雅钉钉办公系统可查询的在职人员数量超2300人。
