China says parties to CK Hutchison's ports deal must not avoid antitrust review

BEIJING, April 27 (Reuters) - China's top market regulator said on Sunday that parties to CK Hutchison's ports deal must not use any means to avoid an antitrust review, according to an official statement.

"No concentration of undertakings shall be implemented without approval, otherwise legal liability will be incurred," the State Administration for Market Regulation said in a statement, in response to a media report of separating Panama ports from a Hutchison deal.
