【财华社讯】4月28日，据香港政府新闻公报讯，香港特区通讯事务管理局办公室今日宣布，通讯局已就中国移动香港申请于今年6月30日终止提供第三代流动(3G)服务给予事先同意。
通讯局根据中国移动香港的综合传送者牌照特别条件第10.4条批准是次申请，当中已考虑各项相关因素，包括受影响客户(包括3G预付服务客户及仍然使用3G手机/装置连接中国移动香港网络的客户)所占比例极低，而中国移动香港已为相关客户提供支援服务(例如升级服务计划或更换手机/装置的优惠方案)，并为选择不继续使用服务或不更换手机/装置的客户作出合理的终止服务安排，亦已充分提前通知他们和提供客户服务支援。另外，通讯局已要求中国移动香港须于预定的服务终止日期前继续维持令人满意的3G服务。
