凤凰网科技讯（作者/于雷）4月27日，理想汽车自研操作系统“理想星环OS”今日正式开源，这是继今年3月李想宣布开源后迈出的实质性一步。据了解，理想汽车历时3年投入10亿元、集结200名研发人员，成功打造出这套完全自研的汽车操作系统。
“理想星环OS”被定位为车辆的“中央指挥官”，负责向下管理物理硬件，向上支撑应用软件，实现对全车资源的高效调度和功能运行保障。该系统由四大部分组成：辅助驾驶OS（负责处理复杂思维过程）、智能车控OS（控制车辆基础功能）、通信中间件（保障车内各模块高效通信）以及信息安全系统（保护用户隐私数据）。
与传统汽车操作系统相比，“理想星环OS”具有明显技术优势。在芯片适配方面，理想汽车声称可在4周内完成芯片适配和验证，比传统方式节省5个月时间。系统性能表现更为突出，在紧急制动距离上缩短了7米，响应速度提升1倍，稳定性提升5倍。同时，该系统大幅降低了成本，AI算力虚拟化性能损耗降低80%，传感器设备访问延时降低90%，存储资源占用减少30%。
理想汽车已正式开放“理想星环OS”的源代码下载，欢迎全球开发者加入其开源生态。
