Community Healthcare Trust raised its quarterly dividend 0.5% to 47 cents per share from 46.75 cents.
The Franklin, Tenn., company said Thursday its board of directors made the decision to increase the dividend for the quarter ended March 31. The new payout, equal to $1.88 on an annual basis, is equivalent to dividend yield of 12% based on the latest closing share price of $15.71.
The dividend is payable May 23 to shareholders of record on May 9.
The company last raised its dividend in February.
Community Healthcare is a real estate investment trust that focuses on owning income-producing properties associated primarily with the delivery of outpatient healthcare services, the company said.
