The chief executive of Avantor intends to step down once his successor is found.
The Radnor, Pa., biopharma supplier on Friday said the board and CEO Michael Stubblefield agreed that now is the right time for a leadership change. Avantor said a search for Stubblefield's replacement is under way.
Stubblefield is to be retained by the board until February 2026 to provide input as needed and ensure a speedy transition for the next CEO.
