路透华盛顿/利雅得4月24日 - 六位直接知情人士对路透表示，美国准备向沙特阿拉伯提供价值远超过 1,000 亿美元的一揽子武器计划，并称这项计划准备在美国总统特朗普5月访问沙特期间公布。
前总统拜登政府曾试图与利雅得达成一项防务协议，作为沙特与以色列关系正常化广泛协议的一部分，但最终未能达成。
当时拜登的提议以供应更先进的美国武器为条件，换取沙特停止购买中国武器，并限制北京在沙特的投资。路透无法确定特朗普政府的提议是否包含类似要求。
白宫、五角大楼和沙特政府没有立即回应置评要求。特朗普在第一个任期内曾称赞向沙特出售武器对美国就业有利。
两名消息人士称，洛克希德马丁(Lockheed Martin) LMT.N可能会提供一系列先进武器系统，包括 C-130 运输机。一位消息人士称，洛马也将提供导弹和雷达。
四名消息人士表示，雷神$(RTX)$ RTX.N预计也将在一揽子计划中扮演重要角色，该计划也将包括波音(Boeing) BA.N 、诺斯洛普格拉曼(Northrop Grumman) NOC.N和通用原子（General Atomics）。
由于事涉敏感，所有消息人士皆不愿具名。洛马、雷神、诺斯洛普以及通用原子不予置评。波音没有立即回应置评请求。(完)
