路透新德里4月24日 - 两位知情人士向路透透露，印度航空正在与美国飞机制造商波音公司BA.N洽谈购买约10架737 MAX飞机，此前波音的中国客户因中美贸易战而拒绝接收这些飞机。
波音公司首席执行官Kelly Ortberg周三表示，“由于关税，我们在中国的许多客户表示不会接收飞机”，公司可能会将飞机转交给其他有需要的客户。
美国和中国是全球最大的两个经济体，两国均对对方征收了超过100%的关税。
两位消息人士表示，印度航空正在向波音公司寻求购买约 10 架窄体飞机，用于其廉价航空公司印度航空快运(Air India Express)，后者拥有 100 多架飞机。因洽谈尚未公开，消息人士拒绝透露姓名。
