星展银行高级经济学家在致客户的电邮分析中指出，新加坡制造业前景面临压力。

　　尽管该国3月制造业产值同比增幅扩大至5.8%，主要受益于去年同期低基数效应，这一增速较2月份经向上修正后的0.9%明显提升，但随着美国主要贸易伙伴大幅加征关税，全球贸易保护主义抬头，可能抑制外部需求，进而冲击新加坡制造业复苏态势。

　　“作为外向型经济体，新加坡工厂正暴露于美国关税政策‘过山车效应’带来的高度不确定风险之中。”经济学家特别强调，政策环境的剧烈波动使企业面临的非经济性风险显著上升。
