Sikorsky and Bristow Group signed a long-term agreement to update and support the latter's S-92 helicopter fleet.

The companies said Thursday that the deal, exact terms of which weren't disclosed, deepens their decades-long collaboration.

Under the agreement, Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, will provide enhanced support for Bristow's more than 60 S-92 aircraft operating in key markets around the world, including offshore energy and search and rescue.

The long-term package will extend into the next decade and includes Sikorsky's total assurance program, which the companies said will provide Bristow with aftermarket support to operate the fleet within a known budget and reduce the risk of unplanned costs.
