Amara Holdings (SGX:A34) will be appointing an independent financial adviser to help the company directors with the recent acquisition offer made by DRC Investments, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.
The opinion of the IFA and recommendations by the directors will be sent to shareholders.
In an earlier filing, DRC Investments made a voluntary conditional general offer for the entire issued shares of the company at SG$0.895 per share in cash.
Shares of the company surged nearly 26% in recent trading.
