Coinbase Attributes 15% of Its Bitcoin Transaction Volume to the Lightning Network

BlockBeats News, April 29th, according to TheBlock, Coinbase stated that 15% of its Bitcoin trading volume is conducted via the Lightning Network. In April 2024, Coinbase integrated the Lightning Network to provide customers with a more efficient and convenient Bitcoin trading service. Coinbase's Product Director, Michael Rihani, stated, "Integrating the Lightning Network is a key step in supporting the Bitcoin ecosystem and driving payment upgrades. In less than a year, 15% of transactions have used this network, validating its usability. With Lightspark's support, Bitcoin is becoming a powerful tool for global payments."
