Westpac Banking (NZE:WBC, ASX:WBC) appointed Carolyn McCann as acting chief executive for the consumer unit starting May 12, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
McCann is a group executive under the customer and corporate services. An external search is underway for outgoing Chief Executive Jason Yetton's permanent successor, the filing stated.
