Safe Pro Group (SPAI) said Monday it has filed national phase patent applications in 47 jurisdictions to broaden international protection for its AI-powered drone imagery system.

The filings build on a US patent granted earlier this year, which covers the use of artificial intelligence to autonomously detect and label explosives using orthomosaic images and remains valid until 2043, Safe Pro said.

The company also said its SpotlightAI platform is designed to identify over 150 types of concealed threats, including landmines, cluster munitions, and unexploded ordnance.

Safe Pro added the technology is suited for both defense and humanitarian missions, with real-time threat alerts through integration with military systems and field communications networks.

Shares of the company were up over 7% in recent Monday premarket activity.
