孩之宝公布2024年第三季度业绩,尽管利润率较上年同期有所提升,但营收连续9个季度下滑,主要受玩具消费需求疲软拖累。
数据显示,第三季度孩之宝净营收12.8亿美元,同比下降13.8%,连续9个季度出现环比下滑,且降幅超出市场预期。公司表示,这主要是由于通胀高企导致消费者收紧对玩具等非必需品的支出。为应对需求放缓,孩之宝近期加大了成本控制力度,如削减供应链成本、剥离非核心资产等,使得公司第三季度利润率达到25.7%,较上年同期22.8%有所提高。
不过分析人士指出,即便公司盈利能力得到改善,但玩具行业整体需求疲弱的局面仍将持续。孩之宝下调了全年收入预期,预计消费品部门收入将下降12%至14%,此前预期为下降7%至11%。与孩之宝面临类似困境的还有竞争对手美泰儿,其也被迫下调了全年销售预期。
