交银国际指，美联储上周减息半厘，本港各大银行最优惠贷款利率亦下调四分一厘，超出该行预测的下调零至八分一厘，新造按揭利率亦降至3.875厘。
该行预期本港银行在未来美联储再减息半厘下，只会下调最优惠利率四分一厘至八分三厘，明年首季度起才完全同步减息。该行认为实质按揭利率将在明年降至低于住宅租金回报率水平，此将为缓解楼价压力的关键。
