智通财经APP获悉，周四美股盘前，Expedia(EXPE.US)上涨近7%，此前有报道称优步(UBER.US)考虑收购该公司，以实现业务多元化。
据知情人士透露，在第三方提出收购旅游预订公司Expedia后，优步最近几个月与顾问讨论了竞购这家公司的事宜。
据报道，优步的兴趣被描述为处于非常早期的阶段，可能不会达成任何协议。这家网约车公司还没有正式接洽，目前也没有进行谈判。
报道称，优步讨论的焦点是优步首席执行官Dara Khosrowshahi的角色，他曾在2005年至2017年期间担任Expedia的首席执行官，目前仍是非执行董事。考虑到这位CEO与Expedia的关系，任何与该公司的接触都可能是友好的，而且他需要回避交易谈判。
优步、Expedia和Expedia董事长Barry Diller拒绝对此发表评论。
