Rackspace Technology Enters Strategic Collaboration Agreement With Amazon Web Services

Rackspace Technology (RXT) said Wednesday it has entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services, to provide extensive cloud and AI services worldwide.

The partnership involves a substantial investment to enhance customer migration and modernization efforts through the global expansion of Rackspace's Migration and Modernization Center of Excellence, leveraging experience from the Amazon Web Services' Migration Acceleration Program, the company said.

Both companies will also help customers use generative AI through Foundry for AI by Rackspace, promoting responsible AI adoption and scalable workloads on Amazon Web Services.

Rackspace said it will launch Amazon Web Services-validated generative AI industry accelerators in the AWS Marketplace starting in early 2025.
