Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) extended mineralization at its Siona prospect within the broader Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling at the prospect extended mineralization by 29 meters to 107 meters at a grade of 1 gram per tonne (g/t) gold from 96 meters, including 5 meters at a grade of 3.2 g/t gold from 109 meters and 33 meters at a grade of 1.4 g/t gold from 139 meters, the filing said.
The gold discovery and mining development company added that further results from the drilling program are expected within the coming weeks.
Yandal Resources' shares rose by more than 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
