央视记者获悉，《纽约邮报》援引警方消息称，当地时间12月4日早，美国纽约发生一起枪击事件。联合健康保险公司首席执行官（CEO）布莱恩·汤普森在纽约曼哈顿中城区希尔顿酒店外遭枪击身亡。

　　汤普森遭遇枪击后被紧急送往医院，经抢救无效死亡。据悉，美国联合健康保险公司当天正举办投资者日活动。（央视记者 徐德智）
