智通财经APP获悉，加州周一宣布，Stellantis NV(STLA.US)旗下子公司FCA US已同意支付420万美元，以解决该州对旗下车辆过量排放问题的调查。此次和解涉及2014年至2016年款配备3.0L柴油发动机的Ram ProMaster 1500、2500和3500车型，这些车辆因安装了未经批准的排放控制绕过装置，导致大量氮氧化物排放。
具体而言，加州空气资源委员会(CARB)指出，这些违规车辆因违反空气质量法规而达成和解。加州方面称，这些违规装置导致了近55吨的过量氮氧化物排放至空气中。此前，Stellantis也曾因类似指控向加州支付过和解金，如在2022年因涉及燃气汽车的指控支付了560万美元。
作为和解协议的一部分，FCA US将召回问题车辆，并对排放控制系统进行修改，以确保其符合加州的相关法规。此外，和解协议还包括一笔超过200万美元的民事罚款，该罚款将纳入加州的空气污染控制基金。
同时，FCA US还将支付210万美元，用于资助一个旨在减少远洋货船在特定季节和地区对野生动物和空气质量影响的减速项目。
值得注意的是，FCA US在另一项联邦排放调查中，已于2022年6月承认犯有刑事共谋罪，并支付了约3亿美元的认罪协议，以解决美国司法部的柴油排放欺诈调查。
此前，在2019年，加州也曾与FCA达成和解，后者因使用“作弊装置软件”规避全国10万多辆柴油车的排放测试而被指控，加州从5亿美元的和解金中获得了7800多万美元。
