消息面上，Cameco公司官网1月2日的公告显示，其与哈萨克斯坦国家原子能公司(Kazatomprom)的合资企业Inkai由于未如期获得政府开发授权的延期，因此为不违反哈萨克斯坦的法律，Inkai公司计划将于1月1日暂停生产。
国证国际指出，此次事件反映出铀资源供应端的重要性，任意铀产能减少事件或会引发国际铀价的上行，从而增大相关公司业绩的上行空间。目前核电发展在世界范围内存在共识，其稳定、清洁、高效等多重优势使得其在各国能源结构中的重要性与日俱增。在随着下游大型核电站建设以及小型反应堆推广的进度加快，铀资源缺口将会进一步扩大，进而推升国际铀矿价格，利好上游铀资源开发公司。
