0941 GMT - Shares in major U.S. semiconductor stocks are rising in Thursday premarket exchanges after Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. forecast robust sales growth this year on strong artificial-intelligence demand. Nvidia shares are up 2.1% premarket, touching a high of $140.25. Advanced Micro Devices gains 1.6%, while Micron Technology is up 1.4%. Semiconductor stocks in Asia and Europe also climb after TSMC Chairman and Chief Executive C.C. Wei said revenue from AI-related servers and processors is expected to double in 2025 after more than tripling last year. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
