1520 ET - Deckers Outdoor could raise its fiscal-year earnings outlook by more than 8% when it releases its 3Q earnings on Thursday, Baird analysts say in a research note, citing signs of strong holiday demand. The company's Ugg brand posted new highs in U.S. and global search, as well as experienced widespread backorders around the holiday season, analysts say. And its Hoka brand is continuing to capture market share, plus has a strong pipeline of new launches in the works. The company most recently guided for per-share earnings between $5.15 and $5.25 for its fiscal year, though Wall Street expectations are higher, at $5.65. Baird analysts say that figure could rise higher still, near $5.90. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
