1324 GMT - Investors have increased their expectations for interest-rate cuts through 2025 following Thursday's decision by the Bank of England to cut interest rates by 25 basis points to 4.50%. All nine monetary policy committee members voted to cut rates, with two even favoring a bigger 50 basis-point reduction. Money markets now price in a 30% chance of a BOE rate cut in March, up from 17% priced in prior to the rate decision, LSEG Refinitiv data show. For the whole of 2025, markets now price in a risk of three further rate cuts, having previously priced in a likelihood of just two more after February. Investors expect a total of 66bps in BOE rate cuts between now and the end of 2025. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
