智通财经APP获悉,福特汽车(F.US)将取消部分中层管理人员的股票奖金,以提高绩效。目前这家汽车制造商正面临利润下滑和成本高企的困境。
福特已告知员工,在3300名中层管理人员中,大约有一半不会获得股票奖金,这些奖金通常在3月份发放,并在三年内兑现。福特在全球拥有约7.6万名受薪员工。福特首席执行官Jim Farley正在敦促员工提高绩效,因为公司预计今年的息税前利润将下降20亿美元或更多。
福特周二在声明中表示:“我们致力于推动高绩效文化,认可并奖励为企业做出贡献的员工。”
福特一直在努力控制保修成本和其他费用,Farley表示,这些费用导致公司在成本上比竞争对手高出70亿至80亿美元。福特还预计,其电动汽车业务今年将亏损高达55亿美元。该公司去年在电动汽车业务上亏损51亿美元,目前正在对该业务进行改革。福特计划今年削减10亿美元的成本。
2月5日,Farley在公司第四季度财报电话会议上告诉分析师:“我们专注于在未来几年缩小竞争差距。我们正在改变我们的文化,更加注重质量,并对所有工程团队和领导层采取问责措施。”
