财富杂志报道：2月12日摩根大通的一次市政厅会议上【要求所有员工从下个月开始每周五天返回办公室办公。】，一名科技运营分析师Welch韦尔奇【从2017年开始就在摩根大通工作】当场质疑了摩根大通CEO戴蒙:

1、首先承认戴蒙的领导地位

2、七人团队在不同的国家和地区开展业务【时区都不一样】，周五到办公室上班有毛意义

3、正在经历离婚，有家庭和育儿责任

4、关于是否周五出勤的决定应该让个别经理自由决定

这一质疑赢得了同事的掌声但是惹怒了戴蒙

戴蒙回应：我不可能把这件事决定权留给经理们，零机会！否则容易发生的滥用职权的行为。远程工作造成的效率低下。员工在Zoom会议上浪费时间。戴蒙还驳回了一份由员工签署的请愿书，他说：“我不在乎有多少人签署了这份该死的请愿书。

会后不久，部门副总裁Garrett Monaghan莫纳汉要求韦尔奇立即到办公桌前。莫纳汉说“你把我们整个组织拖入了泥沼”，并当场命令韦尔奇清理办公桌离开。韦尔奇照办了，收拾好行李，“滚”出了大楼。

韦尔奇一直认为自己被解雇了。但是当天下午4:30，摩根大通全球IT支持执行董事梅根·米德联系韦尔奇，告诉他继续当牛马。米德说：领导已谅解。晚些时候，莫纳汉给韦尔奇发短信致歉。

至此，韦尔奇从“被解雇”到恢复正常工作，只有短短几个小时。当然。。。周五必须到办公室上班....
