民生证券指出，机器人应用有望拉动镁用量大幅提升。人形机器人量产在即，该行测算电机外壳及身体部分外壳或可拉动13.7千克/台（套）镁金属用量，以100万套出货量计算，人形机器人远期将拉动1.37万吨镁金属消费量。若未来在机器人其他同样实现镁金属替代，则有望进一步拉动对镁合金用量。
公开资料显示，力劲科技集团于2024年推出TPI 镁合金半固态压铸技术，该技术是镁合金半固态触变铸造工艺的全新革命性技术，具有诸多优势。2024年7月，力劲在第十八届上海国际压铸暨有色铸造展上展示了13000T双压射超大型压铸装备。
