路透台北2月25日 - 针对市场传出台积电2330.TW可能与英特尔INTC.O合作的传闻，台湾经济部长周二表示，不评论市场传言，等到正式台积电来向经济部报告， 才会有一些讨论。
经济部长郭智辉周二对记者做此表述。他亦指出，日前经济部次长赴美国主要是去收集情报。
“对谈的对象是我们的顾问、或是以前在行政上面认识的官员。”他说。
他也表示，拜访有的官员目前还在任，但有的官员已离开，由于目前关税政策常常改变，因此主要收集情报给谈判单位使用。
华尔街日报先前曾援引知情人士的话报导，台积电和博通(Broadcom)AVGO.O都在关注可能分拆英特尔的潜在交易。
郭智辉先前曾表示，次长江文若和相关的官员赴美国主要是例行性拜访，希望能收集更多情报，主要是川普（特朗普）政权上台后的改变。（完）
