1248 ET - Best Buy's computer sales are starting to grow again as customers are expected to replace more products in 2025 due to Windows 10 reaching end of support in October, Bank of America analysts say. Computer and tablet comparable sales increased 5% in the third quarter, with laptops up 7%, a shift from declining PC shipments during 2023. A return to computer sales growth would help companies like Best Buy that experienced a lull in demand after many consumers took care of their new-computer needs during the pandemic. Still, that growth recovery is likely to be offset by tariff uncertainty and e-commerce pressuring market share.(katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
