1319 ET - Kroger's heavy transition period among senior leadership gets its biggest name yet, says BMO Capital Markets' Kelly Bania in a research note. The U.S. supermarket chain said CEO Rodney McMullen resigned following a board investigation into his personal conduct. Bania notes that Stuart Aitken left Kroger as its chief merchant in November to become CEO of Circana. Additionally, David Kennerley in February was named as the next CFO, replacing Todd Foley who's leading in an interim capacity, says the analyst. Shares tick down 2.3% to $63.37.
