Edensof' (HKG:1147) subsidiary, Shenzhen Eden Software, obtained an internet content provider license from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The license enables the group to provide value-added telecommunications services such as internet information services, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The approval, being the first to be granted to a foreign-funded company, enables the company to apply its artificial intelligence and big data expertise further into the enterprise service market and Expand the scope into the consumer service.
The group has already set up a foundation to legally acquire and process multimodal training data from various resources for its large models.
