SK Hynix (KRX:000660) subsidiary SK Keyfoundry introduced its new 3D Hall-effect sensor technology on Thursday, March 6, Pulse News reported the same day.

The new version, unlike its previous one-dimension and two-dimension sensors, offers higher sensitivity and faster response times. The company expects the technology to be widely adopted in industries such as automotive, robotics, drones, and home appliances, the report said.

Shares of SK Hynix fell nearly 2% in recent trade on Friday.
