Arena Group Names Paul Edmondson Permanent CEO

Arena Group made permanent the appointment of Paul Edmondson as chief executive following the removal of Sara Silverstein about three weeks ago.

The technology platform and media company, which publishes TheStreet and Men's Journal, terminated Silverstein in February after less than a year as CEO.

The company then named Edmondson as its interim CEO. He had most recently served as president of Arena Group's platform unit. Before holding that role, Edmondson was the company's president and operating chief.

"As the company rapidly transforms, the board believes a new entrepreneurial operational strategy is necessary to execute its exciting growth plan," the company said last month.
