新浪科技讯 3月5日上午消息，据晚点报道，美团在沙特的快速拓展震慑了其他公司对该市场的布局，当得知美团的小象超市正考虑进军沙特，2月初，叮咚CEO梁昌霖在内部会议上宣布暂时放弃沙特市场，及时止损，转而聚焦国内业务。

　　此前，2024年三季度，叮咚买菜管理层调研后决定进军沙特，计划 2025年3月前开出首个前置仓。据报道，叮咚管理层认为竞争侧很难战胜拥有“外卖流量支持+无限子弹”的小象超市，市场侧叮咚早期希望在沙特复制中国经验，但当地人习惯以家庭为单位在线下采购生鲜商品，前置仓模式下卖得更多的是食品百货和各类长尾商品，这不是叮咚的优势。

　　对于是否已宣布放弃沙特市场一事，新浪科技向叮咚买菜方面求证，截至发稿公司暂无回应。不过新浪科技了解到，此前叮咚买菜官方公布的沙特地区招聘岗位，目前确实已经全部下线了。
