Former Aon executive Paire officially joins Lockton Re

By Rebecca Delaney

March 5 - (The Insurer) - Eric Paire has officially taken up his post as head of Lockton Re's capital advisory practice in London.

In this role, Paire will provide structural capital solutions and consultancy across Lloyd's, along with prospective and retrospective structured solutions.

He will also support Lockton Re's growth in France and other French-speaking territories.

Paire most recently served as head of capital advisory at Aon Reinsurance Solutions. Joining in 2018, he was responsible for leading the segment’s then newly formed capital advisory unit.

Prior to Aon, he spent 10 years at Guy Carpenter, latterly as head of global partners and strategic advisory, EMEA.

The Insurer revealed in April last year that Paire had been appointed to lead Lockton's capital advisory business as part of the wider build-out of its London capital markets team.

The broker also hired James Mackay, formerly head of Lloyd’s relationships at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, to lead a newly formed Funds at Lloyd’s division, as first reported by this publication.

“Lockton Re continues to invest in both our capital markets and capital advisory space," said Robert Bisset, chairman of global retrocession and property specialty, Bermuda, and market capital at Lockton Re.

"Eric has cultivated an excellent market reputation in London, Europe and the wider industry for his innovative and creative approach to addressing client’s needs."
