1134 ET - Ulta is still losing market share to competitors, which could be a drag on its 2025 plan to grow the business, Jefferies analysts say. In the fourth quarter, 90% of Ulta stores were impacted by one competitor and two-thirds of stores were impacted by two or more. That level is higher than in October, when Ulta said only half of stores were affected by more than one customer. Ulta's growth was around 2% compared with 3% to 4% industry growth, implying market-share loss, the analysts say. Brands with more distribution capabilities are particularly tough rivals, Ulta said in comments to investors Thursday. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
