SMC Global Securities Gets Board Nod to Raise Up To INR1.5 Billion

SMC Global Securities (NSE:SMCGLOBAL, BOM:543263) has received board approval to raise up to 1.50 billion Indian rupees through the issue of non-convertible debentures, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The company plans to issue up to 750 million rupees of secured, rated, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures of face value of 1,000 rupees each, with an option to retain oversubscription of up to 750 million rupees.

The issue is scheduled to open on April 2 and close on April 17, and the debentures are proposed to be listed on the BSE.

Shares of the company gained over 1% in morning trade Thursday.
