Baidu (BIDU) denied claims of an internal data breach after an executive's teenage daughter disclosed other internet users' personal details online, Reuters reported Thursday.
Baidu said all employees and executives were prohibited from accessing user data, and that the user information posted online was illegally obtained from stolen private data on foreign platforms, Reuters reported.
Baidu said it had filed a police report on the incident, Reuters added.
Baidu did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
