Petratherm (ASX:PTR) started its second phase drill program at the Rosewood prospect in the Muckanippie project in South Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The 6,000-meter air-core drill program will include limited infill drilling at the prospect to assess mineralization grade and thickness, and collect bulk samples for metallurgical test work, the filing said.
The project area comprises company tenure as well as joint venture tenement EL 6715 with Narryer Metals (ASX:NYM), per the filing.
Petratherm shares rose 6% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
